OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The stated mission of the City of Sturgis Fire Department
is to serve and safeguard our diverse community through
a professional, efficient and effective system of services
which protect life, property and the environment. Each
member of our department contributes to the quality of
life within our community with competence, compassion
and professionalism. Our fire fighters are proud, dedicated
individuals committed to continuously improving the services
we provide our community through intense training in both
fire and non-fire related emergencies. We believe in our
proud tradition and our dynamic future, while always striving
to reinforce the responsibilities with which we are entrusted.

we share our commitment to life safety, information as
to how we operate as well as safety tips and references

The City of Sturgis Fire Department, as well as the fire
service in general, is steeped with tradition of dedication,
brotherhood, courage, pride and excellence of service.
We are constantly striving to find innovative ways to
serve our community. We recognize we are an integral part
of the community and are sensitive and responsive to neighborhood
needs and priorities, as well as those of the business
and manufacturing community. We enjoy and appreciate the
tremendous support we receive from our community, our
city administration and city council.
I am extremely proud of the men and women that make this
department what it is. It is truly an honor to lead such
a group of dedicated professionals.
